Michael Aston - DKK 11,000.00 (App USD 1,900.00)

Micheal donated 5% of his winnings at the main event of EPT Copenhagen. Michael showed a remarkable character when he aproached Peter after he had reached the money in Copenhagen and donated 5% of his future winnings in the tournament. The standard donations that we had been hoping for is 1% of the winnings of poker players. Michael has in addition to his donations volunteered to become Friends of Eastgate's UK coordinator and we hope we will be successful in hosting a charity poker tournament in London in the fall of 2009, in connection with EPT London 2009.

Jannick Wrang - DKK 12,000.00 (App USD 2,050.00)

Jannick donated 5% of his win at the DKK 10,000.00 side event at the EPT Copenhagen. Jannick is a successful Danish pokerpro that has shown his true spirit and we are ever greatful for his donation. Like Michael Aston, Jannick also donated 5%, instead of the standard 1% that we had been hoping for. This truly shows Jannick's character and we hope he wins a lot more tournaments. We are hopeful you can play poker against Jannick in the May charity tournament we are working on setting up in Copenhagen.

Peter Eastgate - DKK 5,000.00 (App USD 850.00)

Peter will throughout his Career donate 5% of all his tournament winnings. In Copenhagen, Peter did not win any money himself, but he invested in his good friend Jacob Rasmussen, who finnished in 31st place. As a response to the great givings of Michael Aston and Jannick Wrang, Peter decided to donate 5% of Jacob's prize money, from his own investments. We hope that we will receive many more donations from peter as he plays the live tournament circuit.
